Linen House Project

This project was a Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology and Linen House Industry Partnership project.

Working to a commercial brief, the Linen House brand required us to draw our inspiration from the Napoleon exhibition in the NGV, whilst referencing the broad theme of ‘Quietly Grand’.

The theme board ‘Malmaison’ was assembled from the visual research collected at the exhibition in addition to further external research. The theme board was used to direct design outcome. The final designs show strong relation to initial theme.

Original work was hand drawn in pencil and fine tip pen with a traditional etching esthetic in mind. Later it was scanned in sections and assembled and coloured in photoshop. Final product outcome was bed linen with matching accessories.
